Aurora is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. You need your own valid Minecraft account to play; Aurora does not provide one.
Provided as is
Aurora is provided free of charge, as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise it is bug-free, that it will keep working, that it is compatible with your setup, or that it will stay available. Features can change or be removed at any time.
Use at your own risk
You run Aurora at your own risk. Many servers do not allow client modifications, and using Aurora may get your account muted, kicked, or banned on servers you join. That is between you and the server. We are not responsible for any punishment, lost access, lost items, or lost progress that results from using Aurora.
You are responsible for knowing and following the rules of any server you play on. Aurora being installed does not mean a server permits it.
Fair use
Do not use Aurora to break the law, to harass or harm other players, or to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any server or service. Do not resell Aurora, pass it off as your own, or redistribute modified copies. All rights in Aurora and its code, name, and artwork stay with its creators.
Accounts and cosmetics
The cosmetics service stores your Minecraft username and UUID so it can show your cosmetics and, for staff, run the admin panel. Cosmetics are granted at our discretion and carry no cash value. We may add, change, or remove cosmetics, and may revoke access for anyone who abuses the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the creators of Aurora are not liable for any damages arising from your use of it, including account bans, data loss, or damage to your device. Your only remedy if you are unhappy with Aurora is to stop using it and remove it.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Aurora after a change means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be noted in the Discord.
